I finally bought myself a new digital camera. For ages I've been wanting to get myself a digital SLR camera, and when the Cannon 350D came out I was eager to see how things would progress with the low end SLR products.
I didn't want to spend too much on a new camera, so after quite a bit of research and testing things out I went for the Pentax K100D DSLR camera.
I have to say, its worth way more than than it's price tag. It's a £399 camera that comes with a 18mm-55mm lens and a very rare SR (shake reduction) system which you usually only see in higher range cameras.
It's a brilliant camera all round. ISO from 200 to a very high 3200 meaning I can get some great low light shots without a flash. They are slightly grainy which you should expect (when its dark even your own eyes are grainy). I put some text pictures up on my gallery here.
These are just silly photos, but they do demonstrate some of the great qualities of the camera. I have to say, I'm really please with it and can't wait to try it out on some propery scenery. :-)
